The CTI Meteor Plus is a Caller ID device for decoding the Caller's telephone number from the telephone line and presenting it on a COM Port of a PC. It also detects dialled digits and the telephone going on/off hook. This product is powered entirely from the COM port. It also records conversations, using the sound card of the PC. This is a hardware only product and can be used with your existing software to create a fully integrated call management solution.

Active CID Professional Driver
This driver is not included but can be bought seperately or with the meteor plus as a package (see links below). Active CID Datasheet - You can download this datasheet to see more details on the Active CID driver. This is an ActiveX control called ActiveCID, which makes the process of interfacing to the CTI Meteor Plus a very simple task. This is basically a driver that interfaces the Meteor Plus with your computer - it is not software but does configure the hyperterminal connections for you. If you have software that has a Caller-ID extension then this driver should connect to it.
